Team Leader: Direct Sales
Based in Manchester and reporting to the Sales & Performance Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Team Leader to lead a growing internal sales team and maximise its productivity, performance and capability. You will play a key role in delivering business targets and supporting organisational growth, while creating a high-performance culture where colleagues are motivated, supported and continuously developed.
As the day-to-day leader, you will take ownership of team performance, coaching, engagement and development, alongside recruitment and onboarding of new starters. You will use performance data and insight to drive results, ensure strong sales disciplines and compliance, oversee commission submissions, and maintain high standards through regular 1:1s, reviews and quality processes. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on developing people, improving performance and building a successful, high-performing sales team.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
Previous experience leading and developing successful sales teams, preferably in the energy industry.
