Debt Management Executive - 12 Month FTC
You will play a key role in maximising our cash flow by ensuring debt and unbilled balances are tightly controlled. Supporting sustainable business growth, you’ll build strong relationships with customers while protecting company profits and margins. This role is central to minimising exposure to bad debt, maintaining an acceptable level of risk, and ensuring overdue accounts are collected efficiently and professionally.
Day to day, you’ll manage and track debt across management agencies and key accounts, making regular outbound calls to debtors in line with agreed priorities. You’ll oversee accounts in legal status, liaise with third-party debt collection agencies, and support accurate validation of tenancy and agency changes. Working closely with Customer Services, Sales, and Credit Risk teams, you’ll produce bespoke reports, contribute to process improvements, and actively promote the values and mission of the Debt Team while delivering a high standard of customer service.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
Demonstrable experience within a customer service environment;
Resilient and comfortable working in a sometimes demanding environment;
Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
A friendly and open approach to collaborating and working with other teams to help achieve company goals.
