Senior Metering Executive - 12 month FTC
The Senior Electricity Metering Executive plays a pivotal role within Electricity Industry Operations, acting as the first point of escalation for complex metering issues and providing expert support to both customers and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Metering Team Leader, this role helps ensure the smooth delivery of metering operations across an evolving customer base, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and governance requirements.
This position combines strong technical expertise with leadership and mentoring responsibilities. You will guide and support team members on complex metering matters, contribute to training and continuous improvement, and assist the Team Leader with workload management and operational delivery. With a proactive and curious mindset, you will help drive process improvements, adapt to regulatory change, and ensure high-quality outcomes that meet agreed KPIs, SLAs and customer expectations.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
Experience within the metering industry and a good understanding of the different metering solutions used;
A comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end smart metering journey;
Experience in a technical smart metering environment;
Ability to transfer knowledge and build colleague confidence;
People management skills and the ability to build rapport;
Knowledge of other departments within Industry Operations and how they support each other.
