Treasury Analyst
Join our dynamic Treasury team as a Treasury Analyst and play a key role in shaping the financial strength of the business. In this varied and impactful role, you’ll support the Group Treasury Reporting Manager with the preparation of timely, accurate cash forecasts and reports, while contributing to the annual budget and quarterly planning processes. You’ll help develop and refine robust cash-flow models, participate in treasury systems and process-improvement projects, and support key treasury operations including loans, cash pooling, FX, and interest-rate derivatives.
You’ll also collaborate closely with subsidiaries and the wider Marubeni Group, ensuring the smooth consolidation of global cash positions, accurate financial reconciliations, and the delivery of critical group-reporting requirements. With responsibility for maintaining corporate treasury systems, preparing detailed analysis, and providing ad-hoc reporting to senior stakeholders, this role offers a broad platform to grow, contribute, and make an impact across a global organisation.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Experience in Treasury or Finance;
- Previous experience of preparing cash forecasting and exposure to budgets, and high-level financial plans ideally within large or medium sized business;
- Experience investigating, auditing, and explaining variances against budgets or expected results;
- Proven financial, analytical, and modelling skills with ability to interpret financial and non-financial data;
- An ability to interpret financial and non-financial information, ideally with some basic financial modelling experience.
