Contracts Manager - Energy Trading
Our Trading Team is growing quickly.
You will play a key role within Trading by undertaking the development, negotiation and approval of non-standard transactions in Energy and Environmental Certificate Markets and ensuring delivery through the deal life-cycle.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- Crafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing sometimes complex contracts including energy master trade agreements, green certificate transactions and market access arrangements;
- Managing transactions throughout the contract lifecycle, including KYC and transaction approvals;
- Undertaking contract negotiations, including engaging with counterparties and other stakeholders to discuss and finalize contract terms
- Ensure terms, conditions, and provisions of contracts comply with company policies and standards and requirements;
- Keep detailed records of contract negotiations and agreements;
- Work with various departments to ensure contract requirements are understood and met.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Demonstrable experience of complex commercial and operational negotiations, including regular interaction with senior leaders;
- Experience of energy industry process and operations that support the management of contracts with GTMA, EFET, and Renewables counterparties.

What does hybrid working mean to us?
Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
