Junior Infrastructure Engineer 24 month FTC
As a Junior Infrastructure Engineer reporting directly to the Global Infrastructure Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting key projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
You'll be working on a wide range of infrastructure projects, from physical to virtual server estates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the availability and performance of IT infrastructure, proactively addressing issues, and recommending improvements to drive reliability, performance, and security. Whether it's supporting technical migration projects or contributing to the development of best practices, you'll provide hands-on support. With a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining top-tier service, your contributions will shape the success of our infrastructure evolution.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Experience working in cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure;
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors;
- Able to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues;
- Experience working with Microsoft Server from 2008-r2 to latest versions;
- Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud (Azure) and Office 365;
- Knowledge and understanding of ITIL and industry best practices.
