Test Analyst - 16 Month FTC - Energy
Working on our major projects, you will plan, design, execute and report on testing related activities across software systems under development.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- Planning, monitoring, control and undertaking of testing activities and tasks;
- Identification, preparation and maintenance of test artefacts for their assigned projects;
- Manage STLC (Requirement analysis, Planning, Test Case development, Execution) of their assigned Projects and BAU IT changes;
- Interact with business teams, SMEs and 3rd Party software providers to ascertain requirements and translate these into Test cases;
- Defect management, reporting and retesting;
- Be responsible for Test Planning, execution, tracking and reporting whilst following testing best practices within the team;
- Working closely with the Test Manager to ensure consistent approach on all projects undertaken testing with the user of tools and artefacts;
- Documenting test progress and results Escalate issues and risks to the Team Manager when appropriate and in a timely fashion.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Leading and executing testing strategy on large IT projects, with obsessive attention to detail;
- Strong communicator.

What does hybrid working mean to us?
Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
