Project Manager - 2 Year FTC
Role:
Reporting to the Head of Risk Transformation, the role will assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of the Risk transformation project according to strict deadlines and within budget.
How will I spend my time in this role:
- Provide leadership and direction throughout the transformation project lifecycle from planning through to operational handover and business acceptance to ensure the project is delivered to time, cost, and quality.
- Management of project roadmaps and working packages with established measures in place to manage quality and track against progress.
- Proactively identify, manage, report, and mitigate project milestones, risks, issues, critical path and dependencies.
- Management of project resources and ensuring resource demand is planned in conjunction with PMO.
- Build relationships engaging with stakeholders across business functions to facilitate change and effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
- Provide regular comprehensive project reporting to stakeholders on the project progress status, risks, mitigations and dependencies.
- If necessary, management of 3rd-party vendors to ensure IT change is delivered to time, cost, and quality with the IT Procurement Manager.
- Provide effective leadership to the Risk Transformation team. Adopt appropriate project management methods and tools. Manage the change control process and assess risks. Ensure realistic project plans are maintained and deliver regular and accurate communication to stakeholders.
- Ensure project and product quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are formally accepted by appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitors costs, times, quality and resources used and acts when performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Experience within the Energy sector or other regulated industry (desired)
- Proven track record in successfully delivering medium – large transformation projects.
- Experience working with IT vendors, building successful partnerships, and assuring IT change.
- Experience of managing stakeholders across all levels within Risk, IT and the wider business.
- Proven experience in assessing the feasibility of projects and executing the planning and approval process of medium-large scale projects.
- Proficient use of Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of Azure dev Ops / Jira or equivalent (desirable)Demonstrable
- knowledge of time management, budget management, prioritisation, decision making and problem-solving skills.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
