Trading Administrator 12 month FTC
You are required to support the Power, Gas and environmental commodities trading teams in their administrative activities so that they can focus on the market. This covers customer and market order entry, deal entry, and other tasks.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- Provide deal entry support to the traders across all products;
- Provide pricing support to the Trading Team across a wide variety of standard and non-standard products;
- Liaise with Trade Control and Risk to reconcile/resolve any deal entry issues or P&L discrepancies;
- Support with FX hedging as required;
- Assist with operational tasks required to maintain department processes;
- Look at ways to improve trading processes with limited automation;
- Support the trading function;
- Maintain high standard of customer service while dealing with external counterparties;
- Participate in future products development.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Demonstrates a proactive and conscientious approach to work;
- Comfortable taking responsibility for accuracy of high value tasks with high degree of complexity;
- Strong Mathematics skills/knowledge;
- Handles time pressure and conflicting priorities;
- Strong desire to develop technical skills.
