Quantitative Developer
Lead the coding development efforts across the Portfolio Optimisation & Pricing department, encompassing teams in Pricing, Hedging, Forecasting, Quantitative Research, and Spot Trading. You’ll develop and enhance quantitative solutions, driving innovation and excellence in forecasting and pricing models.
- Leadership & Development: Oversee coding across teams, ensuring high-performance models and applications.
- Innovation: Build new quantitative solutions and optimize existing ones.
- IT Collaboration: Act as the Python programming expert, ensuring our tools and processes align with IT standards and leverage IT capabilities fully.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Substantial quantitative development experience in energy trading (pricing, volume forecasting, hedging);
- Expertise in managing and optimizing code bases, and productionizing quantitative solutions;
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., git) and containerized solutions;
- Experience with VBA, C#, C++, R, and strong Python skills (development and teaching);
- Significant experience with Azure, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and strong SQL skills.
