Team Leader - 14 month FTC
You will guide, monitor, and provide the leadership necessary to ensure their team of Customer Service and Customer Success Executives are successful in meeting our customer service, pricing, billing, deal entry, and debt standards while helping to deliver our overall Operational strategy.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- Manage any issues relating to the team, provide leadership, development and motivation and complete objectives and appraisals;
- Provide allocation of customers and operational responsibilities within the team and help manage imbalance in workload;
- Ensure any issues preventing timely and accurate statements are addressed or escalated on a timely basis;
- Manage and monitor upcoming customer renewals, price requests and pricing actions, to ensure that Sales teams are aware of, and address, renewals in a timely manner, also ensuring that there are no backlogs in the sales process;
- Be the main point of escalation for your team;
- Support the Generation Operations Manager as a representative for the wider team on development of projects and initiatives;
- Attend customer meetings with Business Development Managers (where required) to support from a Generation Operations, both for existing and potential customers;
- Support the customer service executives with debt management activities to ensure associated debt is collected in line with payment terms;
- Close liason with finance to ensure correct month end reporting from a Smart Generation billing and customer services perspective;
- Ensure that the team accurately sets up the required data sets for customer contracts into Salesforce (the CRM system), Zenbi (pricing system), Allegro (ETRM) & SBS (billing system) and all other manual pricing and billing tools;
- Manage System & Process enhancements that minimize and continuously reduce the risk of manual process from an operations perspective;
- Manage the development of products, deals and services at the operational level;
- Supporting internal and external audits for Generation.
What skills/experience do I need to be considered?
- Track record of team leadership or showing leadership potential through performance in a team role;
- Track record in developing and managing strong cross-business relationships;
- Experience of successfully dealing with or managing change;
- Able to manage additional projects/responsibilities outside of the normal job scope as and when required.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
